Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of laboratory or related experience.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety protocols.
• Basic familiarity with cleaning, sanitizing and handling lab glassware.
• Ability to use simple measuring, monitoring, or recording tools.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required checklists.
• Ability to work independently after required training.
• Ability to communicate problems and unsafe conditions promptly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media, solutions, reagents, and standards.
• Sterilize materials and maintain sterile equipment.
• Assist with sample preparation and handling.
• Wash glassware and maintain clean work areas.
• Collect and manage laboratory waste per SOPs.
• Document monitoring activities and safety checks.
• Maintain equipment-use records and inventory.
