Job summary

KMRG, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Services Technician in Bothell, WA to provide onsite laboratory support for the U.S. FDA Seattle Laboratory. You will perform media and solution preparation, sterilization, sample handling, glassware washing, waste management, and daily safety checks.

The role requires attention to safety, meticulous record-keeping, and following written procedures. Prior lab experience and ability to work in a structured environment are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written procedures, safety protocols, and detailed instructions.
• Basic familiarity with cleaning, sanitizing, or handling laboratory glassware.
• Ability to use simple measuring, monitoring, or recording tools.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required checklists.
• Ability to work independently after receiving required training.
• Ability to communicate problems, unsafe conditions, and unusual findings promptly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media, solutions, and standards; adjust pH as directed.
• Sterilize materials and maintain sterilization records.
• Assist with sample preparation and handling of various samples.
• Wash glassware and maintain orderly lab areas and equipment.
• Collect and dispose of lab waste following safety procedures.
• Assist in safety checks and documentation as required.
