Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of computer navigation and experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook) or equivalent.
• Typing or keyboarding skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and courteous attitude toward all customers.
• Six months of related medical training, medical terminology or related experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process biological specimens following SOP.
• Perform testing analyses and verify analyzer performance per SOP.
• Document and communicate lab test results accurately.
• Perform maintenance procedures and restock supplies.
• Demonstrate competency and comply with regulatory policies.
• Maintain laboratory customer service standards, confidentiality, teamwork and communication.
• Respond proactively to stress, customer needs and department changes.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
