Job summary

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to support daily operations and oversee staff within the Laboratory division. You will assist the Manager with scheduling, performance management, and ensuring compliance with accrediting bodies.

Responsibilities include personnel development, budgeting input, policy implementation, and maintaining quality control in testing and LIS systems, while delivering outstanding customer service to internal clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating clinical laboratory staff and operations.
• Understanding of accreditation requirements and quality systems.
• Knowledge of laboratory information systems and testing workflows.
