Job summary

Jefferson Health in Turnersville, NJ seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to provide clinical and technical supervision of MT/MLT staff and oversee daily testing demands. You will coordinate core and specialty lab activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will supervise bench testing, manage staff performance, and contribute to budgeting, quality control, and training programs in a hospital laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in a medical laboratory setting.
• MT/MLT duties and clinical capacity familiarity.
• Strong communication with physicians, nurses, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and supervision of technical staff in the laboratory.
• Appraises performance and provides regular feedback; handles hiring/discipline with managers.
• Supervises bench testing for accuracy and reliability of results.
• Maintains personnel records, staffing plans, and cost-efficient resources.
• Develops and maintains laboratory guidelines and QC/PI programs.
