Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead a dedicated laboratory team and ensure accurate test reporting.

You will oversee day-to-day staff supervision, monitor QA/QC, review abnormal/critical value reporting, and help evaluate performance of MTs, MLTs, phlebotomists and clerical staff. A Bachelor’s in Medical Technology and ASCP MT/CLS are required, with 5+ years supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Medical Technology is required.
• MT or CLS (ASCP) or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of staff and reporting of test results.
• Perform, monitor and review quality assurance/control on diagnostic testing and initiate corrective action on exceptions.
• Monitor all reports for accuracy and documentation of abnormal/critical values.
• Assist with documenting and evaluating performance of MTs, MLTs, Phlebotomists and Clerical personnel.

What qualification you will need:
