Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Memphis, TN is seeking a Laboratory Associate to support patient care by processing specimens, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining quality in a regulated lab environment.

You'll join a dedicated team on a 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) with full-time, benefit-eligible status and opportunities to grow within our laboratory operations. A high school diploma and strong analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment including centrifuges and computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of patient care by properly processing, preparing, routing, and storing specimens.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a lab with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

This Opportunity Is

Location: Memphis, TN

Days: Monday - Friday, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours: 40+ hours per week. Availability includes 3pm-11:30pm

Full Time: Benefit Eligible

In This Role, You Will

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

All You Need Is

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.
