Job summary

The role supports pathologists and clinicians in providing high-quality patient care, with emphasis on accuracy and timely processing.

The position requires an Associate degree (Bachelor preferred) and at least one year of related experience, with duties spanning

• Associate degree required.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 1 year of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identification of each specimen upon receipt and assigns accession numbers.
• Enters demographics into the computer system.
• Generates changes when necessary or requested.
• Adapts workflow processes to achieve high productivity and aid in TAT.
• Performs departmental assigned duties/Coordinate patient care with pathologists and other physicians.
• Assists the organization by performing other duties as requested or required.
