Job description

Design and execute experiments independently. Perform highly complex molecular and tissue-based assays. Facilitate collaborations with other labs that benefit our research. Monitor interactions with suppliers and negotiate discounts for the lab. Oversee lab safety inspections, manage lab ordering, and reconcile budgets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.

Experience: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field plus 3 years of experience as a Laboratory Specialist or in a related occupation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position may require extensive periods of standing and squatting during experiments or animal care. Also involves keyboarding, bench work, and animal procedures requiring fine finger manipulation.
