The role leads a designated laboratory section, providing scientific oversight while managing staff, equipment, supplies, and the section's budget, and contributing to strategic planning and system-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a biological, chemical, physical or clinical laboratory field is required.
• 5–7 years of laboratory management experience are required.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by a nationally recognized certifying agency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
• Provide scientific and technical oversight for a designated laboratory section, including staff, equipment, and supply management.
• Contribute to tactical and strategic planning and ensure regulatory compliance and vendor coordination.
