Ardent Health seeks a Laboratory Services Director to provide strategic leadership for the organization's laboratory service line. The role drives quality, operational excellence, financial performance, growth, and standardization across lab services.

The Director collaborates with facility leaders, pathologists, physicians, operations, finance, and supply chain to optimize operations, manage suppliers, and ensure regulatory compliance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive laboratory leadership in acute care.
• Experience leading multi-site lab operations and enterprise initiatives.
• Knowledge of lab operations, regulatory requirements, and financial management.
• Strong leadership, analytics, communication, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, performance, and growth of laboratory services across the health system.
• Partner with leaders, physicians, and hospital leadership to meet quality and financial goals.
• Drive standardization, utilization management, and technology adoption across labs.
• Develop long-term plans for operations, capital, workforce, and expansion.
• Oversee supplier relationships, contracting, and equipment standardization.
