Medical City McKinney, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a POCT Coordinator to manage point-of-care testing under guidance of Medical Director and Administrative Laboratory Director. Responsibilities include testing, specimen handling, quality control, and reporting.

Requires strong regulatory knowledge and leadership in a fast-paced hospital lab environment. You will oversee adult and pediatric patient testing, ensure competency, and support continuous quality improvement within the Laboratory

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field is required.
• Current Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist certification (ASCP, AMT) required within 3 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Perform chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Receive and prepare specimens for microbiology, hematology, serology, blood banking, urinalysis and chemistry.
• Ensure quality control, develop new procedures, monitor inventory, and prepare end-of-month reports.
