Job summary

The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix seeks a Research Technician I in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences. You will support a busy laboratory, perform day-to-day experiments, maintain organization, and document results under PI guidance.

A strong communicator with attention to detail is essential. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field is preferred.

• Prior research experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sample and lab organization for efficient workflow.
• Perform day-to-day experiments under supervision, including basic tissue culture and protein analyses.
• Record results, interpret data, and contribute to study objectives.
• Draft protocols and summarize quantitative results.
• Order and replenish lab supplies to keep research activities running smoothly.
• Ensure safety, biosafety, and institutional guidelines compliance.
