Arkansas Children's Hospital is seeking a Research Associate to join a biology-focused laboratory. The role involves cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and processing diverse human-derived samples under approved protocols.

The incumbent will design and execute experiments, manage inventory and small projects, and contribute to data analysis for conferences and manuscripts. Flexibility to support time-sensitive cell line work is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Biology or related field.
• Minimum of one year of relevant research experience.
• Basic familiarity with cell culture techniques is required; prior hands-on cell culture experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain inventory of raw materials, buffers and reagents with accurate record-keeping.
• Order equipment and supplies for the laboratory within budget.
• Demonstrate proficiency in laboratory principles and procedures to complete complex tasks.
• Manage small projects, assess feasibility and ensure efficient use of time and resources.
• Review project progress and evaluate results; troubleshoot experimental processes.
• Stay current with techniques and equipment; advise Senior PI on methods and troubleshooting.
• Develop new techniques and approaches to address research questions.
• Utilize graphics and statistical software to analyze data for presentations and manuscripts.
