Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital seeks a Technical Consultant/Supervisor per CLIA to educate medical groups, develop testing procedures, and ensure staff competency. Responsibilities include QC, instrument calibration, policy development, and maintaining documentation in line with state and federal guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with MLS/MT certification and at least five years of health care lab experience. Day shift, full-time in SCMG MGMT SERVICES with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and MLS/MT certification/license.
• Five years of health care laboratory experience or related field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to train staff.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and lab information workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform and teach quality control and calibration on all instruments; ensure validity and accuracy.
• Establish lab policies and protocols; educate and train staff on preparing and processing samples.
• Maintain records for quality control, maintenance, and proficiency testing for each analyte.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA) and review test validations and reference ranges.
• Sign maintenance logs, evaluate competency, and coordinate staff training annually.
• Support equipment management, proficiency testing, and liaison with regulators as needed.
