Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Missouri is seeking a Laboratory Operations Technician to help manage the flow of samples, materials, and laboratory resources supporting testing and research activities. This role is ideal for individuals with background in laboratory support, logistics, inventory management, or warehouse operations who want to build a career in life sciences.

The successful candidate will log and track materials, coordinate movement between departments, maintain GLP and CGMP

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work full-time on first shift in Columbia, MO area.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, labeling, logging, and storing incoming samples and study materials.
• Tracking inventory, sample locations, usage, expiration dates, and archival activities.
• Coordinating movement of materials between lab departments with accurate documentation.
• Assisting with return, disposal, and archiving of materials at study completion.
• Monitoring incoming samples for quality concerns and notifying leadership of discrepancies.
• Maintaining records in accordance with lab procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting GLP and CGMP compliance and safety regulations.
• Assisting with loading, unloading, and storage of lab materials and supplies.
• Performing calibration support and routine equipment maintenance.
• Supporting specialized lab functions such as sample prep, homogenization, culturing, or handling regulated materials.
• Following safety procedures when handling samples, biohazards, chemicals, or regulated substances.
