Qualifications

• Basic lab procedures familiarity.
• Ability to follow written SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, measure, mix, and prepare laboratory media, solutions, reagents, and standards.
• Adjust pH and heat prepared solutions as directed by procedures.
• Transfer prepared materials between containers and equipment.
• Label media, solutions, reagents, and standards accurately.
• Follow laboratory quality procedures and SOPs.
• Handle chemical additives with required safety precautions.
• Prepare materials for sterilization and laboratory use.
• Sterilize prepared media, containers, and waste materials.
• Load and operate autoclaves per procedures.
• Maintain sterilization and equipment-use records.
