Job summary

Airswift, on behalf of a major client, seeks a Laboratory and Operations Assistant for a six-month contract in Mobile, Alabama. You will perform laboratory tests, collect samples, maintain records and assist with equipment and CMS checks. Requires a BS in chemistry/biology or 3 years lab experience, plus strong communication and computer skills. The role supports ISO quality standards and lab operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or related discipline or 3 years of equivalent lab experience.
• Clear communication with management and production personnel.
• Working knowledge of laboratory equipment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Quality Management ISO 90001/14001.
• Proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Laboratory Resource.
• Coordinate and analyze incoming raw material, in-process and final product samples per quality standards.
• Collect, deliver and dispose of samples (full-face respirator required).
• Maintain accurate and complete records of sample analysis.
• Perform daily CMS checks.
• Assist with MMP Unit online analytical maintenance and calibration.
• Maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Complete tasks to meet evolving lab and production needs.
