Job summary

Nemera is seeking a Lab Manager to oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality data. You will supervise personnel, manage equipment, and support projects by maintaining operational excellence.

The role requires 7–10+ years in regulated lab environments, strong leadership, and expertise in quality tools and lab safety. You\'ll drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, cGxP, QSR) across the lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience working in laboratory environment for regulated industries of pharmaceutical or medical device.
• 3+ years of lab operations and personnel management.
• Experience with quality tools such as MSA, Gage R&R and Design of Experiments.
• Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains data integrity and ensures compliance with company procedures and regulations (FDA, cGxP, QSR).
• Reviews test data and documentation practices.
• Ensures laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Selects and orders new equipment and tools as necessary.
• Performs testing to meet project schedules.
• Leads and organizes all activities of the Laboratory including planning and reporting.
• Deploys EH&S policies to ensure safety and environmental protection.
• Applies quality policies within the lab for regulatory compliance.
