Job summary

EyeBio is seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager to lead and coordinate lab operations across Discovery sites, ensuring compliant, high-quality service delivery. This role works hands-on with scientists and interfaces with EH&S, Facilities, and Lab Computing to support equipment maintenance, logistics, and facility modifications.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in research science functions and operating models.
• Knowledge of laboratory, facilities, and work environment needs within a research or drug discovery organization.
• Ability to identify appropriate resources for troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
• Experience with maintenance of biological laboratory equipment including cell culture hoods, incubators, centrifuges, imaging systems, and liquid handling instruments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital asset lifecycle and hands-on support for lab equipment maintenance programs.
• Coordinate chemical stockroom supply and laboratory consumables logistics; manage shipments of research materials.
• Provide operational support for laboratory modifications, downtime, IT requests, and lab furniture needs.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams (EH&S, Facilities, Lab Computing) to ensure high-quality service delivery and safety compliance.
