Job summary

X4 Engineering is seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager for its Lancaster, PA food testing lab. This fully on-site role requires relocation assistance for the right candidate and leads a team to achieve KPIs and financial goals while ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and related food-safety standards.

Responsibilities include hiring and developing lab personnel and enforcing QMS documentation, SOPs, and test methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related discipline.
• 5+ years' supervisory experience in a food testing laboratory environment.
• Expertise with PCR, ELISA, and cultural confirmation of foodborne pathogens including Salmonella, Listeria, and E. coli O157:H7.

X4 Engineering are working with a global analytical testing organization looking for a Laboratory Operations Manager at their food testing lab in Lancaster, PA.

This role will be fully on-site position - significant relocation assistance is on offer for the successful candidate, should they require it.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead daily lab operations and personnel, including performance against KPIs and financial goals

Education & Skills Required:
