Job summary

Kuakini Pathologist LLC is seeking a Senior Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee all facets of the Laboratory Department. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure services meet established policies and regulatory standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, NAACLS terminology training with clinical hospital exposure, ASCP certification, and a Hawaii license, plus 5+ years in a clinical lab and 3+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in allied health, physical or biological sciences.
• NAACLS-accredited Medical Terminology program with clinical hospital training.
• Certification by a national board such as ASCP.
• Hawaii Clinical Laboratory Technologist and/or Supervisor License.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in a clinical laboratory.
• Minimum three (3) years supervisory/administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of departmental operations including budgeting, planning, directing and staffing for the Laboratory Department.
• Ensure development and provision of departmental services in accordance with policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
