Job summary

Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, GA is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations of the Laboratory department, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and regulations. You will supervise up to thirty professional and skilled personnel, analyze specimens, and provide safe, efficient services across patient populations.

This role requires education in medical technology, state licensure, and strong leadership with planning, organizing, and communication

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of college with concentration in medical technology or related field preferred.
• Current Medical Technology Certificate/licensed by AMT, ASCP, HHS, NCA, or ISCLT.
• Clinical competence in Medical Technology preferred.
• Current license to practice medical technology in Georgia; BLS preferred.
• Three to five years experience in laboratory management or related field; advanced management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Laboratory department in accordance with accreditation standards and regulations.
• Analyze specimens and obtain data for diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide safe and efficient laboratory services to diverse patient populations.
• Communicate with medical staff and external agencies while maintaining confidentiality.
• Supervise up to thirty professional and skilled personnel.
