Job summary

KAISER is seeking a Manager of Laboratory Operations Management in Kennesaw, GA. The role oversees day‑to‑day clinical laboratory operations, quality assurance, safety, and compliance in a labor-management partnership environment, guiding credentialed and non‑credentialed personnel and ensuring timely reporting.

The position emphasizes leadership, staff development, regulatory alignment, and cross‑functional collaboration to sustain high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports in a healthcare related field.
• Bachelor's degree in medical lab science or equivalent, or health care related field AND minimum six (6) years of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or health care related field OR minimum nine (9) years of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or health care related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides coaching and training to talent, sets goals, and drives performance improvement.
• Translates business plans into tactical action items and ensures policies are followed.
• Maintains testing and training standards and ensures ongoing competency.
• Ensures compliance and accreditation, oversees licensure renewals and documentation.
• Links medical lab services with other services and coordinates with internal and external partners.
• Manages operations to improve quality, safety, service, and cost efficiency and implements new methodologies.
