Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation in Sinclair, WY seeks a Manager Laboratory to lead the lab, ensure safe, quality-focused operations, and mentor staff across routine and non-routine analyses. You will drive performance, maintain compliance with ASTM protocols, and manage lab resources for efficient daily operation.

The role oversees testing methods, instrument maintenance, LIMS administration, and collaboration with refinery teams to support process optimization and QA/QC efforts.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of management or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and motivate performance of direct reports.
• Prepare budgets and manage operating costs for personnel and equipment.
• Ensure quality testing of samples and ASTM compliance.
• Oversee lab instrumentation maintenance and QA/QC activities.
• Communicate lab results clearly to customers and oversee LIMS administration.
• Support refinery optimization and process chemistry initiatives.
