Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
• 5 years full-time experience as a medical technologist in a clinical laboratory setting.
• ASCP or NCA certification required or equivalent credentialing per CLIA director guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise laboratory personnel performing routine and specialized technical procedures.
• Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs.
• Prepare technical reports reflecting volume of work and test results; coordinate reporting and analyses.
• Plan, develop, and present workshops; coordinate student rotations in lab methods.
• Schedule personnel and manage day-to-day laboratory operations to ensure efficiency.
• Oversee staff hiring, performance appraisals, and leave schedules; monitor safety practices.
