Job summary

Billings Clinic is seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead Laboratory Services at the main campus. You will develop objectives, policies, and procedures that formalize the mission, vision, and values while maintaining quality and cost-efficient operations.

You will partner with pathologists and leadership to plan short- and long-range programs, oversee daily lab activities, ensure compliance with CAP and HIPAA, and drive continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree required or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of experience in laboratory leadership or management.
• Experience with laboratory operations and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops objectives, policies, and procedures for core Laboratory Services to formalize and implement the mission, vision, and values of Billings Clinic.
• Leads collaboration with directors, physicians, pathologists, and staff to plan short- and long-range programs and improve lab services.
• Provides leadership for daily operations within the laboratory and ensures adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Manages budget, supplies, and capital equipment; participates in cost-control initiatives while maintaining service quality.
• Supports CAP readiness and other accreditation initiatives; drives quality assurance and process improvements.
