Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager to co-lead laboratory operations within the DeKosky laboratory and related research programs. The role focuses on coordinating molecular biology, immunology, and cell culture-based research activities, while guiding project execution and team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree with lab experience; a master’s or PhD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree-related field required or Master's Degree-related field preferred
• Experience: 3–5 years of research experience in a lab setting
• Required qualifications include undergraduate degree with some experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, biotechnology or related field; higher degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee lab supplies, equipment purchasing and maintenance
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance activities
• Train staff in specialized lab techniques
• Assist with subject scheduling
• Contribute to strategy based on industry trends and data
• Apply project management to keep development initiatives on track
• Contribute to scientific literature and present data at meetings
