Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead the Daphne, AL laboratory team. The role oversees daily operations, supports timely reporting, and mentors personnel while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality control.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in a chemical/biological science and 5+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience, with ASCP/AMT certification preferred. Monday–Friday schedule; some emergency weekend coverage may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 5+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day to day operations of the department.
• Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner.
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department.
• Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assay coverage.
• Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed.
• Engage in continuous process improvements and quality control.
