Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in microbiology, health sciences, or related field.
• Minimum five years in progressively responsible laboratory roles, including two years of supervisory experience.
• State licensure as required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day laboratory operations.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Manage budgeting, purchasing, and inventory for the laboratory.
• Ensure safety, quality controls, and compliance with CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements.
• Oversee lab policies, procedures, and instrument maintenance.
