Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist for night shift in our Laboratory - MT, specializing in Blood Bank. This 13-week assignment starts at 21:30 (flexible to 20:00 as needed) and requires at least 2 years of recent blood bank experience in a large hospital setting.

Description:The Clinical Lab Scientist will work independently during night shifts.Start time is 21:30 but may flex to 20:00 as needed.Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent blood bank experience without exception.Strong experience in high-volume type/screen and crossmatch is required, with expected sample volumes of 30-50 per day.Must be confident in working alone during night shifts.Weekend shifts will rotate, including holidays.Previous experience in a teaching hospital is preferred.Experience with instrumentation such as Wellsky and Immucor is ideal.Familiarity with key blood bank procedures and quality assurance is essential.Successful candidates will manage blood specimen storage, crossmatching, and transfusion reaction workup.Ability to perform tasks like labeling, pipetting, and specimen collection is expected.The role involves receiving and transporting specimens, as well as reporting test results.All candidates must demonstrate proficiency in blood banking procedures and proper disposal of hazardous materials.Flexibility regarding scheduling is crucial for this role.
