Responsibilities

• Perform Gram stains and culture plating.
• Handle specimen receipt and sensitivities testing.
• Work in the microbiology laboratory within a hospital setting (Level I trauma center familiarity).
• Accession and culture methods; molecular extractions (RNA/DNA) advantageous.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with lab protocols.
