Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) on a 13-week night shift assignment on Johns Island, SC. The role requires three years of generalist lab experience and ASCP BOC or equivalent certification, with ASCP, BLS, ACLS, and AMT credentials preferred.

The MLT will perform high-quality testing, specimen handling, reporting results, and adhere to QA/QC in a fast-paced clinical setting. Expect rotation, weekend requirements, and a team-based environment.

Description:The Medical Laboratory Technologist will support high-quality laboratory testing in a clinical laboratory.This position will involve working three 12-hour night shifts with a possibility of rotating shifts.No on-call requirements.Every other weekend is required for this role.Bleached applicants with at least three years of experience are preferred.First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.Travelers should be aware that all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.This includes potential assignments during hurricane season, from June through November.High-quality laboratory testing requires the application of specialized skills in a generalist capacity.Additional responsibilities will include specimen collection, preparation, and reporting test results.Candidates will also engage in adherence to quality assurance and controls in a clinical setting.This role requires experience with various laboratory analyzers and sample handling techniques.Integration within a multi-disciplinary team will be expected as part of routine operations.
