Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Technician will work within our laboratory unit in the main hospital, which supports a patient capacity of 330 beds. The technician will handle assignments across various departments, including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology.

Key responsibilities include processing specimens, performing laboratory tests, operating equipment such as Siemens Atellicas and Sysmex models, and adhering to the Meditech Expanse documentation protocol.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Microbiology.
• Utilize laboratory equipment effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.

Required Experience

• Certification from ASCP, AMT, or an equivalent accrediting body is required.
