Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Medical Technologist, Generalist for evening and night shifts in Clearfield, PA. The role focuses on blood bank procedures and an array of instrumentation within a generalist lab setting, including ECHO Lumina crossmatching.

The candidate will operate with multiple instruments (Cerner Millennium, Dimension Vista 500, Sysmex XN 2000, IL ACL Top 350, Qiagen) and maintain accurate documentation in the LIS. A 13-week contract is involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (AMT or AAB) with ASCP is required.
• Experience in a laboratory setting with proficiency in blood bank procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and serology.
• Utilize instrumentation such as Cerner Millennium, Siemens Dimension Vista 500, Sysmex XN 2000, IL ACL Top 350, Sysmex UA, Roche LIAT, and Qiagen.
• Conduct automated blood bank procedures using ECHO Lumina, including computer crossmatching and tube backup.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory standards and protocols.
• Document results in the laboratory information system.

ARMStaffing is looking for a Medical Technologist, Generalist (Evening and Night Shift) in Clearfield, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Rotating shifts: second shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM and 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM), and third shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Weekend coverage is required on Friday and Saturday nights.

Job Description

The Medical Technologist will operate within a generalist role in a laboratory setting. This position requires comfort and proficiency in blood bank procedures, particularly with the ECHO Lumina system. The candidate will work with a variety of instrumentation and technologies.
