Job summary

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a California-licensed CLS or Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist to oversee a high complexity Blood Bank department. The role requires ASCPCertification as SBB/BB/MT/MLT and prior leadership in blood bank or transfusion services.

The position manages daily operations, staff, budget and workflows in a hospital or reference laboratory setting. Competitive hourly compensation with relocation assistance or a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

This laboratory is known to follow rigorous quality standards and process controls to meet state and local regulatory requirements. They are looking to hire an California Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) andASCPCertifiedSBB(Specialist in Blood Bank) OR Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLS) to oversee a high complexity blood bank department.

Responsibilities include: manage and control all daily laboratory operations, including all laboratory staff, budget, environment, and work processes. In addition to the above certifications, applicants must have previous complex blood banking experience in either a hospital or a reference laboratory environment.
