Job summary

Community Medical Centers in Fresno, CA, is seeking a Blood Bank Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily operations, drive quality improvement, and develop staff while ensuring compliance with California regulations.

You will supervise, evaluate, and mentor staff, coordinate staffing and scheduling, and collaborate with clinicians to implement policies that support high-quality patient care. A Bachelor's in Microbiology or Medical Technology and a California CLS license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or Medical Technology.
• CA State Clinical Laboratory Scientist License.

You will ensure appropriate staffing, scheduling, and skill alignment to meet operational needs, while fostering strong interdepartmental relationships.This role includes supervising, evaluating, and mentoring staff, supporting ongoing training, and ensuring high-quality patient care. You will collaborate closely with other medical professionals and implement laboratory policies and programs, providing operational and leadership support in compliance with California regulations.
