Job summary

Ironside Human Resources is seeking a full-time Laboratory Manager for a great hospital located about an hour West of Lincoln, NE. The role oversees laboratory operations, ensuring timely and accurate services within budget, and requires MLS (ASCP) certification plus 6 years of lab experience.

Responsibilities include daily oversight, problem solving, and proficiency testing to identify root causes of failures; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent with 6 years laboratory experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the operations of the Laboratory, ensuring timely and accurate services within budgetary guidelines.
• Oversees day-to-day lab operations and problem solving to ensure effective processing.
• Reviews daily laboratory worksheets and logs for accuracy and completeness.
• Performs Proficiency Testing and analyzes results for root causes of failures.
