Job summary

HealthCare Recruiters International is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager / Laboratory Supervisor to lead the daily operations of a high-complexity clinical laboratory in Florida, focusing on molecular diagnostics, PGx, pathology, and advanced testing.

You will oversee staffing, workflow, QA, ensure CLIA/CAP/OSHA compliance, mentor personnel, support assay validation, QC, proficiency testing, and partner with leadership to deliver accurate, timely patient results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Qualified to serve as Technical Supervisor under CLIA (preferred).
• 5+ years in high-complexity clinical lab with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience in molecular diagnostics, PCR, PGx, or genomics preferred.

We're seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager / Laboratory Supervisor to lead the daily operations of a high-complexity clinical laboratory specializing in molecular diagnostics, pharmacogenomics (PGx), pathology, and advanced diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, staffing, workflow, and quality assurance programs.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and all applicable regulatory standards.
• Supervise and mentor laboratory personnel while maintaining competency, productivity, and operational excellence.
• Support assay validation, quality control, proficiency testing, and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership and pathologists to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality patient results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Qualified to serve as a Technical Supervisor under CLIA regulations (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in molecular diagnostics, PCR, pharmacogenomics (PGx), pathology, or genomics is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
