Job summary

STARLIMS Corporation is seeking a Business Consultant to support the sales team and retain customers by leveraging technical expertise and strategic guidance. You will develop tailored solutions, engage with customers, and influence purchase decisions across global accounts.

In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with Professional Services, Product Management, Sales Operations, Marketing and Support to ensure pre-sales and post-sales success while staying current on industry trends

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the laboratory informatics industry and regulatory landscape.
• Hands-on experience in laboratory environments or familiarity with lab operations and informatics requirements.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear solutions for customers.
• Proven capability to design tailored technical solutions for diverse customer needs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for internal and client-facing discussions.
• Collaborative approach across departments to drive business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Sales Support: Partner with Sales to drive pre-sales activities and align with revenue targets.
• RFI/RFP Support: Contribute accurate, comprehensive technical sections for RFIs and RFPs.
• Solution Demonstrations: Develop and deliver tailored STARLIMS demonstrations addressing customer challenges.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Professional Services, Product, Sales Ops, Marketing and Support for cohesive workflows.
• Customer Engagement: Maintain regular communication to ensure satisfaction and build lasting partnerships.
• Industry Expertise: Stay current on industry trends and competitive technologies for positioning solutions.
• Strategic Input: Provide feedback on product enhancements considering financial impact and customer value.
• Integrity and Communication: Present complete, accurate information to stakeholders and uphold company values.
