A leading laboratory informatics consultancy in San Francisco is seeking a Laboratory Informatics Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of systems implementation experience, and strong communication and analytical skills. Responsibilities include vendor selection, data needs identification, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Competitive compensation and travel requirements of 25-50% are part of the offer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems implementation and analysis experience.
• Experience in laboratory tools for R&D or Quality in FDA regulated environments.
• Desirable experience with pathology sample management systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform vendor selection to replace in-house LIMS for pathology lab.
• Identify data needs for new LIMS and/or Electronic Lab Notebook system.
• Create and maintain SDLC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA, CAP, CLIA.

Connaissances

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience implementing enterprise data capture/management technologies

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Expert understanding of computer and application architecture and technology

Formation

Bachelor Degree in a related discipline
