Job summary

A leading laboratory informatics consultancy in San Francisco is seeking a System Administrator to assist in the implementation and maintenance of laboratory systems like LabWare LIMS and Empower CDS. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in R&D or QC laboratories, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities. This role requires flexibility in priorities and involvement in multiple projects. A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline is preferred, with a competitive compensation package offered.

Qualifications

• Two years+ experience supporting laboratory systems in a R&D or QC laboratory.
• Demonstrated working understanding of laboratory operations and practices.
• Ability to contribute to multiple projects for different business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance activities.
• Configures and customizes system.
• Integrate instruments.
• Conduct user-training sessions for users.
• Perform entry and edit of all relevant static data.
• Act as liaison between internal laboratory users and vendor.
