Interest in virology laboratory techniques and learning the daily workings and maintenance of a research laboratory.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Background in biology, molecular biology, virology, good attention to detail, willingness to learn.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Cleaning glassware, making chemical solutions, maintaining stock solutions, stocking supplies, filling tips, autoclaving disposables, and general lab cleanup. It should be noted that this is not a formal research position, although several skills learned through this position can be transferred to research roles.
