Job summary

Hudson Lab Automation, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Technician to join our manufacturing team in New Providence, NJ. In this full-time role, you will refurbish liquid handler heads, assemble service spares modules, and ensure parts are tested and calibrated before shipment.

You will work with a collaborative team to maintain quality, meet demand, and support the service spares program, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of voltmeter operation and ability to test circuits.
• Handle physical workload (lift 40 pounds safely and consistently).
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Sufficient visual acuity to inspect small parts, wiring, and mechanical assemblies.
• Work well in teams.

Hudson Lab Automation is seeking a full-time Laboratory Equipment Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will perform liquid handler head repairs and rebuilds a s we ll as building service spare part kits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate liquid handler head refurbishment program ensuring head availability to meet the required demand.
• Build service spares modules.
• Test spare parts before shipment.
• Perform calibration on liquid handler heads.
• Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.
• Prepare parts for final shipment.
• Pull kits from Inventory.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields.
• Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of voltmeter operation and ability to test circuits.
• Handle physical workload (lift 40 pounds safely and consistently).
