Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a Lab Coordinator to oversee daily, weekly, and monthly laboratory operations within our clinic network. You will coordinate workflows, maintain equipment, and support patients and providers while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced health care environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with experience in lab settings and certification as Medical Assistant preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience in a lab setting or related clinical support role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile Nextgen Fax Folder and Quest communications.
• Diagnostics reviewed and processed according to procedures.
• Review Nextgen Task Folder and schedule in-house dermatology appointments.
• Reconcile Rosetta Lab Manager Holding Tank and match lab results.
• Sterilize and inspect instruments in multiple labs to ensure damage-free condition.
• Inspect eyewash stations across labs and monitor safety equipment.
• Monitor and respond to emails promptly.
• Assist Quest Phlebotomist and provide coverage as needed.
• Stock labs and perform quality control on POC test kits.
• Maintain lab machines and keep serial numbers up to date in records.
