Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with healthcare providers by telephone to obtain or give information.
• Visual acuity and basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to interpret pertinent information in terms of the patient’s needs that are age appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties and data entry in a fast-paced lab.
• Accession and sort clinical specimens.
• Operate pneumatic tube system and answer phones.
• Register and order reference labs from other facilities.
• Maintain patient information confidentiality.
