Location: Plymouth, MN

Hours: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Days: Monday - Friday

Part-Time / Limited Benefit Eligibility

In this role, you will:

• Ensure laboratory specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored, playing a vital role in patient care.
• Recognize and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards, following PPE requirements.
• Promote safety, compliance, and quality control.
• Troubleshoot order and instrument issues.
• Resolve specimen problems and deficiencies.
• Participate in special projects, such as evaluating new equipment, reagents, or procedures.

Requirements:

• Some college coursework
• Training or experience in specimen collection or processing
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment like centrifuges, computers, and alarms

Preferred:

• 1-2 years of experience in clinical laboratory, specimen handling, or production

This role involves access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will be trained on safeguards and are expected to maintain confidentiality, accessing PHI only as required for job duties.
