Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP in Kamuela, HI is seeking a full-time phlebotomy technician to ensure proper collection, processing, and handling of laboratory specimens. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and PHI confidentiality within a clinical lab setting.

The position offers on-site, full-time hours with base pay in the range of $19.74–$21.71 per hour, depending on experience, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match; and paid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure laboratory specimens are appropriately collected (including phlebotomy), processed, prepared, routed, and stored
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
