Job summary

Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP is seeking a Laboratory Assistant in Honolulu, HI for a full-time role. The position involves ensuring proper collection and handling of laboratory specimens, with phlebotomy included, in a compliant, safe lab setting.

40 hours per week, first shift, competitive pay rate based on experience. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong reading/writing/analytical skills, and ability to operate standard lab equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of patient care by ensuring laboratory specimens are collected, processed, prepared, routed, and stored (including phlebotomy).
• Maintain safety, compliance, and quality control in a laboratory environment with PPE requirements.
