Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support daily lab operations. You will prepare specimens, organize supplies, and ensure procedures meet safety and quality standards.

The role includes phlebotomy, data collection, and assisting in onboarding new staff. Standard hours are 3:00pm–11:30pm, 40 hours per week, with every third weekend; a sign-on bonus is available for new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program and phlebotomy experience preferred.
• BLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens and related supplies in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of laboratory data

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
